Renovation of Toulouse Metro Platform Screen Doors

Portalp offers the retrofit of platform screen doors, meaning the modernization and improvement of existing installations without fully replacing them.

The platform screen doors of the Paris metro, having reached mid-life, have already benefited from this expertise. This project was carried out in close collaboration with Energie/Voie Tisséo.

The door operating systems were completely replaced to ensure optimal performance and reliability. In addition, essential maintenance operations were conducted to extend the lifespan of the installations.

No Service Disruption for the Toulouse Metro

To avoid inconveniencing passengers, all work was carried out exclusively at night. Metro operations had to resume each morning without fail. Our teams demonstrated their expertise by working in high-pressure environments while ensuring a seamless experience for Tisséo passengers.

The renovations at Barrière de Paris and La Vache stations have already been successfully completed. Starting in March, platform screen doors at five more stations will undergo refurbishment.
