Creation of PORTALP RAILWAY: A New Milestone in the Development of the Portalp Group
The Portalp Group announces the creation of PORTALP RAILWAY, a new company dedicated to its railway business (platform screen doors, guided transport systems, and railway access control and metalwork).
The Portalp Group, a family-owned company known for its commitment to innovation, service quality, and customer proximity, announces the creation of PORTALP RAILWAY, a new legal entity dedicated to the Group’s railway operations.
This new company, headquartered in Saint-Égrève (Isère, France), is the result of an internal reorganization aimed at optimizing the Group’s services and strengthening its development around specialized areas of expertise.
A dedicated entity for railway activities
PORTALP RAILWAY now encompasses all activities related to the railway sector, including the design, installation, and maintenance of platform screen doors, guided transport systems, and railway access control and metalwork.
Production activities will remain under PORTALP France for strategic reasons and to ensure the mutualization of resources across the Group.
Continuity and expertise
All employees currently working in the Transport division have been transferred to PORTALP RAILWAY, ensuring seamless operational continuity. With their expertise and know-how, they will continue to support clients with the same level of quality and commitment.
A new momentum for the future
Maxime Duponchel, President of the Portalp Group and of PORTALP RAILWAY, states: “The creation of PORTALP RAILWAY marks a strategic milestone for our Group. It confirms our intention to structure our organization while remaining true to our core values: proximity, innovation, and long-term commitment to our clients.”
