The Engineering Department designs and validates the technical solutions implemented by Portalp Railway.

Engineers and technical experts work closely with the project and operations teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the rail sector.

Engineering is based on three complementary departments:

Systems & Automation

Responsible for the system, electrical design, control and automation of our products, as well as research and development activities.

Mechanical Engineering & Industrialisation

Responsible for mechanical engineering, the management of technical interfaces, and qualification and testing activities.

FMDS

Dedicated to safety and reliability analyses (Reliability, Maintainability, Availability, Safety) to ensure the compliance and robustness of the solutions deployed.

Our missions

  • Support projects from the tender stage through to commissioning, working closely with the project and operations teams.
