Line 14 extension – Southern extension

Line 14 extension to Orly airport

Line 14 was the first wide-gauge automatic metro line in Paris in 1998. In 2024, as part of the Grand Paris Express project, line 14 will be extended to the north and south.

As the main north-south link in the Paris metro network, it connects Saint-Denis Pleyel to Orly Airport, serving a dozen towns, an airport, hospitals and major business parks.

During the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, just 1 month after its opening to the public, Line 14 will welcome nearly 1 million passengers, a real first for players in the rail world and all the more so for Portalp, which is thus commissioning its first landing doors for a heavy metro.
