Millenium wheel, the London ferris wheel
The London Eye is the iconic cantilevered observation wheel built in London in the 2000s. The project took seven years to complete and cost 75 million pounds.
The 135-metre-high wheel features 32 air-conditioned, watertight glass cabins. Each cabin can accommodate up to 25 people.
The wheel turns at 0.9km per hour and completes a full revolution in 30 minutes, not stopping to disembark passengers unless necessary.
