Introduction to the members of the executive committee
As Vice-Chairman of Portalp Railway, I am responsible for technical expertise, business development and strategy formulation.
With 18 years’ experience at RATP in the design of signalling systems, I was granted my first patent there and gained a solid understanding of the railway sector whilst working alongside maintenance staff and operations teams, whilst strictly adhering to safety standards.
In 2010, I joined Clearsy, which went on to become a major player in security systems, notably thanks to the RS4 relay and several patents to which I contributed, sometimes for clients such as Alstom.
In 2022, I joined Portalp to support its transition into the rail sector and set up Portalp Railway.

Édouard Vaur

Following a stint in TER maintenance, I am now training in railway planning and project management at Egis Rail, working on metro projects in Kolkata, Paris and Lausanne.
In 2020, I joined Portalp. I therefore moved from taking a holistic view of the metro system to a more specific area: platform screens.
I therefore remain firmly rooted in the world of the metro, as the façade brings together all the station’s interfaces, from rolling stock to the passenger experience. From 2020 to 2024, alongside my duties as Platform Façade Project Coordinator, I am serving as Project Manager for the platform screen doors on the Line 14 extension in Paris.
I currently lead the tender team and the project management teams.

Having trained as a lawyer, I have built my career in industrial and international settings, which has enabled me to develop cross-functional expertise in business law, contract management, finance and the management of support functions.
Before joining Portalp Railway, I held various roles in France and abroad, which gave me a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operational, financial and organisational challenges.
Today, I support the management team and staff in the structuring and development of Portalp Railway, ensuring that financial, legal, HR and organisational matters are properly addressed.
Convinced that it is often the details that make the difference, I attach particular importance to rigour, forward planning and the search for pragmatic solutions that enhance collective performance.
Fleur Schneider
Administrative, Finance and Legal Director
I am currently the Director of Engineering at Portalp Railway. I lead the teams responsible for the design and qualification of technical solutions.
Having trained as an engineer, I began my career at EDF, working my way up from operational engineering to the three-shift operation of a nuclear power station.
After nine years, I decided to join the Portalp Railway project. Since 2021, I have been coordinating various teams within the engineering department.
Today, I am proud to be contributing to the development of Portalp Railway and to be leading the engineering teams.
Romain Dumont
Engineering Director
I oversee the installation, commissioning and maintenance of platform screen doors and associated rail transport systems.
I coordinate all the operational teams to ensure the success of projects, the performance of the facilities and that they are maintained in good working order.
My role also involves structuring organisations, developing skills and ensuring that operations are carried out in accordance with the safety, quality and availability requirements expected by the operators.

ISO 9001 certification attests to our control over our processes and our long-term commitment to quality in serving the rail industry. It covers all our activities (platform screen doors, guided transport systems, railway structural steelwork and access control) as well as all our functions, from the sales stage through to maintenance.
